4. The Horizontal Elemental Forces

After working with the Elemental regions of the Astral body for an extended period of time, you are now able to easily manipulate elemental currents up and down the body in a vertical manner. Unless working with a Fluid, this practice, although fundamentally educational, will lead to no great power, nor results other than keeping in check and harmony, with the general flow of the Health Aura.

The next step is to introduce and include the work with the Horizontal elemental energy.

This is done apparently from the outside of the body with the help of the environment.

The universal cardinal directions are the key holders of all elemental quantitative and qualitative force. The Astral body is the universal channel for such elemental forces. The Power expressed from the Astral Body depends wholly upon the environment and the universe, not the other way around.

Locate your room, or apportion a small space for yourself inside a peaceful quiet and beautiful environment. The more beautiful the environment the more success you will acquire during this power practice.

Locate the East Direction. It is from the Eastern Direction that the Personal Genius is contacted most effectively. Contact is easily made by seating or positioning your physical body in the positions of special universal Mudras. For Fire the Mudra is called Jnana Mudra.

For Air its called Bhumi Sparsha Mudra. For Water its called Dhyana Mudra. For Earth its called

Vitarka Mudra.

Once Again , Locate the East Direction. It is also from the East direction that the universal Vacuidity , Spacious Penetration, and Transparent Neutrality, or the Air Element proper is "Appraoched." Sit or stand in your normal position without doing any mudras, -as we specifically use those only to contact our Genius-, and then with your imagination feel,through the space of your physical body. The power practice is to feel yourself as blissfully non existent while still appearing to be seated in your location. It is to appear as if your environment is existing through you, rather than, inside nor, outside of your point of view.

Locate the Southern Direction. It is from the Southern direction that universal Fire or the Fire element proper is to welded and managed. Sit or stand in your normal position without doing any mudras, -as we specifically use those only to contact our Genius-, and then with your imagination visualize a sphere of color light. The power practice is to visualize each and every color light of the rainbow until you come across the colors that invoke the sensation of static electricty, warm explosive chills, and eventually physically felt heat, or Fire; merely by visualizing them in the Southern direction. Take note of all the fire colors you discover. Be sure to check and recheck them over later practices until you are absolutely certain of the them.

Locate the West Direction. It is from the West direction that the universal Magnetism or the Water Element proper is welded and managed. Sit or stand in your normal position without doing any mudras, -as we specifically use those only to contact our Genius-, and then with your imagination visualize a sphere of color light. The power practice is to visualize each and every color light of the rainbow until you come across the colors that invoke the sensation of magnetism, enveloping sexual coolness, compassion, and ecstasy, merely by visualizing them in the West direction. Take note of all the Water colors you discover. Be sure to check and recheck them over later practices until you are absolutely certain of the them.

Locate the North Direction. It is from the North direction that the universal Gravity , Spacious Penetration, and Transparent Neutrality, or the Earth Element proper is welded and managed, as well as the Air Elemental polarities. Sit or stand in your normal position without doing any mudras, -as we specifically use those only to contact our Genius-, and then with your imagination visualize a sphere of color light. The power practice is to visualize each and every color light of the rainbow until you come across the colors that invoke the sensation of gravity, eternallity, transparency, spacious penetration, a sense of moving in rotation with the Earth itself, and enveloping neutralization, merely by visualizing them in the North direction. Take note of all the Earth, and Air colors you discover. Be sure to check and recheck them over later practices until you are absolutely certain of the them.
